British Values at Jesson's

The government set out its definition of British values in the 2011 Prevent strategy and they were reinforced in 2014.

The British values are:

• Democracy
• Rule of Law
• Individual Liberty
• Mutual respect
• Tolerance of different faiths and beliefs.

At Jesson's CE Primary School, we promote British values across the whole school and within our broad and balanced curriculum. We aim to nurture our children on their journey through life so they can grow into safe, caring, democratic and responsible adults who make a positive difference to British society and to the world.
